Day 1

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will assist you with the passport control procedures, luggage identification, and portage services. Following this, you will embark on a full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses an extraordinary collection of 5,000 years of art, making it the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art globally. The museum showcases over 250,000 authentic artifacts, including a dedicated exhibit for the treasures, gold, and jewelry of Tutankhamun, which remained undisturbed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s. Your visit will also include the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, with Cheops being the most monumental structure ever constructed. Following this, you will have the opportunity to closely observe the Sphinx, a grand funerary complex characterized by its lion body and the visage of King Chephren. The day will conclude with a visit to the renowned Khan El Khalili Bazaars, famous for their exquisite brassware, copper items, perfumes, leather goods, silver, gold, and antiques.

After a day filled with exploration, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

The itinerary includes a visit to the Roman Theater, which features marble seating for up to 800 spectators, galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Following this, you will explore the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, which consists of tombs on three levels and includes the Triclinium, where relatives would sit on stone benches to honor the deceased. This site also contains reliefs of bearded serpents and 2nd-century AD statues of Sobek and Anubis adorned in Roman armor. Additionally, you will visit the Alexandria Library, although please note that it is closed on Fridays, so you will only be able to take photographs from the outside. Next, proceed to the Dahshur Pyramids, which include the Bent and Red Pyramids. The Dahshur area serves as a royal necropolis located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo. It is primarily noted for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, dating back to 2613–2589 BCE. Following this, visit Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the monumental statue of Ramses II and the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx, with origins tracing back to 3100 B.C.

At the conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for check-in.
