Itinerary

In the morning, your guide will meet you to take you to the first step of your trip : Temple of Kalabsha. Enjoy a motorboat ride to reach this temple which is located on the west side of Aswan.

Also known as the Mandulis Temple, is an ancient Egyptian temple, originally located at Bab al-Kalabsha, about 50 km south of Aswan. The temple was located on the west bank of the Nile and was built around the year 30 BC during the Roman rule of Egypt.

It is a temple to worship the gods Mandulis, the sun god of the Nubians.
Leave Kalabsha temple and get to Monastery of St. Simon . The Monastery of Anba Simon in Aswan is one of the ancient Coptic Orthodox monasteries. It is one of the largest Coptic monasteries in the world, and it dates back to the sixth century. Its original name is “Monastery of Anba Hadra”, and due to the lack of water a century after its construction, the monastery was abandoned and left for several years without prejudice to it.

Increase your information when you visit the Tombs of Nobles. The Tombs of the Nobles are situated near the West Bank of Aswan at the northern edge of Elephantine Island. They are of significant ‎importance as they give us the chance to know about the history of this section of ‎Egypt during the Old and the Middle Kingdom.
The British archaeologist Lord Greenville discovered the Tombs of the Nobles between 1885 and 1886 and was the first scientist to explore this important ‎historical site. ‎
